Volunteer Opportunities
Most of the activities our children enjoy at Paxtang Elementary depend on volunteer power. Each of us can play a part - no matter how small - in building a healthy and fun school community for our children! From volunteering at events (click on Activities at the right to learn more), to helping with class parties (click on "Classroom Parties"), to donating supplies, food or prizes, your support is always needed!
Important Note: The Central Administration has directed that all classroom volunteers are required to have a volunteer badge. Pennsylvania Act 153-2014 and CDSD require all volunteers participating in the following activities to provide proper child abuse clearances. The Department of Safety and Security reviews all clearances and provides approved volunteers a CDSD volunteer badge.
- Classroom parties
- Field trip chaperones
- Athletic activities (Field Day, Fun Run, etc.)
- Volunteering in classrooms
